Sarah Martin - Alumna

Sarah Martin joined the lab in the Spring of 2018. She is a Junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Biology, Cognitive Science, Government, and Film. Sarah is interested in studying the cognitive neurogenetics of reasoning-related cognitive function, the neuroscience behind sleep’s connection to creativity, and the effects of genetic Alzheimer’s risk factors on neurocognitive advantages in young people. In addition, Sarah is passionate about uncovering the neurobiology behind sex offending and studying the neuroscience of determinism (and how it relates to ethics in the criminal justice system). Outside of the lab, Sarah is involved in film, theater, and rock climbing. She spends much of her free time doing sexual assault advocacy work and criminal justice advocacy work.
