Evie Astorina - Lab Manager

Evie joined the lab in Fall of 2022 as an RA. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Georgetown University in Spring 2023. She began as Lab Manager in Summer 2023. As an undergraduate, she studied the neural basis of reasoning in healthy adults using transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS). She is interested in how creativity anxiety interacts with cognitive flexibility, and how this might affect reasoning and decision making. She is interested in pursuing a clinical PhD to study Substance Use & Addiction Practice. In her free time, Evie enjoys rock climbing, pickling and fermenting vegetables, and hanging out with her dog.
